Novarium TV works like cable TV. Every channel is always playing something, on a schedule. When you open it, it tunes in to the last channel you watched.
Tap any channel button under the TV to switch to it. Swipe that row sideways to see all the channels. Use the down channel and up channel buttons to flip one channel at a time, or tap Surf to jump to a random channel.
The TV starts with the sound off. Tap the red Tap for sound button, or the speaker button in the corner of the TV.
The row of buttons above the channels lets you pick where the shows come from: all sources at once, the Internet Archive, NASA, Wikimedia, the Library of Congress, Open Images, Europeana, or PeerTube. The number next to each one is how many channels it has.
Scroll down to the Full guide to see what is playing on every channel for the next three hours. Tap any show in the guide to go to that channel.
To watch any show from the start, use the search box. Type what you are looking for, like Popeye, moon landing, or silent film, and tap a result. You can also scroll to the From the Vault rows and tap anything there. When you pick a show yourself, the TV says On Demand instead of Live. Tap Back to live to return to the channels.
The Family Filter is on for everyone. It hides adult shows and modern copied movies. Turning it off needs the code.
Tap Blur to blur the picture right away. Tap Exit to turn the TV off at once. If a show ever bothers you, tap Hide this show forever, and it will never play on this device again.
Static gives you old-fashioned TV snow. The square button in the corner of the TV makes it full screen.
Nothing is playing. Sound and video are fully stopped.
